MITM is one of my fave MJ song. HTW is better yeah but MITM is still a good song imo. Anyways, they're both better than Hero.

Then, according this article from earlier this year its sales are 5,298,000.

That's sales of 305,000 in four Christmas seasons (2009-2012). 305 / 4 = ~76K. So that's how much Merry Christmas sells each Christmas season, on average.

The sales comparison between the two for ha other albums is interesting - Music Box, Daydream, Butterfly, and #1s each increased by ~100K.

It would've charted better than Through The Rain. She & her management made the worst mistake releasing a pop-ballad as if it was early 90's, when during the time radios were basically only playing Urban B0PS, this was perfect.

I'm like literally almost sure it would've done better, and Cam'Ron was really hot at the time.

The era would've brought most success with:
1st Single - Boy (I Need You)
2nd Single - You Got Me
3rd Single - The One

I only see those doing any type of impact, though - and it would've probably been limited to modest. Urban was the thing, but the sound of Charmbracelet is too underground / unappealing for radio to me. I can't imagine being in a car on my way home and hearing radios playing any type of song from Charmbracelet to death.

Everybody keeps saying she needs to make a new video of AIWFCIY for streaming points, but that probably won't ever happen.

AIWFCIY, on "Merry Christmas" has rights under Sony for all we know. Clearly she ain't going back to do anything with Tommy's people, and they probably won't do anything with her.

The exact reason why when they did "Greatest Hits" in '01 with her songs with them while she was w/ Virgin on Glitter, and tried to do the new AIWFCIY w/ Bow Wow they had to do a cartoon music video instead of having her.

It was only just put on the Now Xmas album this year in the UK because Sony sold them the rights
