1 1 Katy Perry I Kissed A Girl
- The more I hear it, see the video, and her performances, it grows on me, but still not a fan of it or her yet.
2 2 Rihanna Take A Bow
3 3 Lil Wayne Lollipop
- Die please?
6 4 Chris Brown Forever
- Hope this can go #1!
4 5 Lewis*leona Bleeding Love - Single
- Seriously overrated.
7 6 Natasha Bedingfield Pocketful Of Sunshine
- Come on, go top 5!!
11 8 Lil Wayne A Milli
- Have they even officially confirmed this a single? Who cares, it's great.
10 9 Miley Cyrus 7 Things
-
9 10 Plies Bust It Baby Pt. 2
-
12 12 The Pussycat Dolls When I Grow Up
- I see this peaking either #6 or lower top five, but it'll definitely hold up until the album.
8 13 Jonas Brothers Burnin' Up
- Awwww. Disney do some more payola!
15 15 Rihanna Disturbia
- LOL.
27 17 Ne-yo Closer
- WTF??????!?!??
22 20 The-dream I Luv Your Girl
- Yes, another top 20!
37 28 Keyshia Cole Heaven Sent
28 29 Colbie Caillat Realize
- Keyshia has really proven her status in the R&B business, and Colbie is just pure love.
40 31 Estelle American Boy
- If this big teeth mammoth outpeaks Duffy...
36 37 New Kids On The Blo Summertime
- LMAO. They tried. Nice tune.
31 44 Madonna 4 Minutes
- Dayum.
47 45 Chris Brown Take You Down
50 46 Flobots Handlebars
53 48 Flo Rida Featuring In The Ayer
-
Interesting Moves
60 51 Maroon 5 Featuring If I Never See Your Face Again
- Well it's now a #51 flop.
70 52 Jordin Sparks One Step At A Time
- As much as I didn't want this as a single, I can't say I'm not happy it's doing well for her. Bitch better release "YAIL" after "Freeze". Matter of fact they better release "Freeze" next.
58 54 Keys*alicia Teenage Love Affair
- Great, the only great song from her **** album is flopping.
80 65 Kid Rock All Summer Long
- Disgrace, but catchy.
72 69 Usher Moving Mountains
- Poor guy.
-- 88 Yung Berg Featuring The Business
-- 90 Nelly Featuring Cia Stepped On My J'z
-
-- 100 Mariah Carey I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time
- And it begins
Bubbling Under
10 6 M.i.a. Paper Planes (homeland Securit
- Ughh, I hope this can debut at least. Give this chart some kind of credibility.
-- 8 Natasha Bedingfield Soulmate
- And they wanna release predictable "Angel"?
20 10 Jennifer Hudson Spotlight
- It's good, better than I expected. I had hope she could control her big momma voice, and she did.

2 2 Rihanna Take A Bow
3 3 Lil Wayne Lollipop
Two songs I am VERY happy for! They are really staying around
6 4 Chris Brown Forever
11 8 Lil Wayne A Milli
10 9 Miley Cyrus 7 Things
- HELL FREAKING YEAH
15 15 Rihanna Disturbia
-- 88 Yung Berg Featuring The Business
-- 90 Nelly Featuring Cia Stepped On My J'z
Luving BOTH OF THESE! "The Buisness" is getting airplay now. Nelly & Ciara is getting alot of hype without any airplay or an official release.

Should’ve Said No top 40!!! Taylor Swift now has 5 top 40 hits from her debut album.
Other female artists to do this: fergie, paula abdul, pcd
Sampling of female artists who have not: gwen, Mariah, whitney, Madonna, rihanna, Britney, Christina, carrie underwood, Shania, alanis, jewel, celine, norah jones, janet, sarah mclachlan, lauryn hill, faith hill, Kelly Clarkson, toni Braxton, Janis Joplin, Sheryl crow, leann rimes, beyonce, nelly furtado, avril, Ashanti, j. lo, pink, mary j. blige, Dixie chicks, spice girls, destiny’s child, tlc
She is also the first solo female artist to score 5 top 10 country hits from a debut album since the album chart was first published.
What do you guys think will be the next new no. 1? The ones I think have the best chance:
1. Disturbia – If the video increases downloads that much.
2. A Milli – If mainstream radio starts playing it. However, it seems that Got Money is being used as Lil Wayne’s 2nd single there.
3. Forever – If airplay and downloads go up enough. Don’t know why they would, but they could.
I Kissed a Girl #1 4 weeks, =Bleeding Love, 1 less than Lollipop. Jason Mraz’s 2nd top 40. Miley’s highest-peaking song. Neyo’s 5th top 20.
JoBros songs have been selling shitloads of downloads for awhile, yet have not hit even no. 4. There is also no airplay. I think the best chance for them having a no. 1 is when the actual album comes out.

A lot of these examples of those who haven't didn't get 5 top forty hits from their debut release never released that many, so they shouldn't even really be counted.
Such as Mariah ("There's Got To Be A Way" was not released as the 5th in the US), Whitney only had 4 singles, Rihanna released 2 singles from her debut, Britney did 4, as well as Christina, and a lot more listed.
But still an amazing feat!
