This is a real possibility imo... remember how that marketing guy from Pepsi was tweeting Bill Werde about this song in like December

I know the Pepsi guy has music industry connections (I think he used to work for Def Jam) but surely he knew it was supposed to be a secret... he was the only person outside of the music video shoot that confirmed the rumors. Plus Joseph Kahn has been tweeting about the art of editing/filming commercials a lot lately. It's not far-fetched for them to have filmed a Pepsi commercial at the video shoot

Do you really believe this song will survive another week without any promo or video? I expect it to start tanking on radio this week since itune sales are not strong. They can't wait for the Superbowl. They need something now.

Radio usually doesn't go along with iTunes to be honest. "Love Somebody" by Maroon 5 was #3 on the overall radio charts, but 120 on iTunes. "We Can't Stop" topped iTunes several times but only went up to 20 on pop radio.

I think there's an over-reliance on using their names to sell the song. Promo needs to happen this week.

I love Shakira and I will always stan for her, but I hate to admit Rihanna's part is what makes this song.

It's not catchy enough to make it a #1 as we thought in the beginning, hopefully the video will make it rise again and CRTFY can pull a Talk Dirty.
