It's not stupid.
Bey is already set while these young producers need exposure. Yes they will get their album fee but thats not much. I've read once that only the biggest producers get a 6 figures check. If the song becomes a smash, the producers will get more royalties.
Per example, just look at Calvin Harris. He was bubbling under for years until We Found Love came out, now he's an international household name.
Why give your best songs to Bey when you can give them to someone who cares about singles?
