RF went top 10 in 2 formats AAA and HAC and it is still increasing on AC. They should send the song on POP at the beginning of may.

I was hoping they would send the song to Pop tomorrow/Tuesday to coincide with the Album pre order and Ellen performance. The song is Top 10 in HAC and AAA. It is also rising in AC (which lol is a generally a platform for songs that have already been hits). His label really need to hurry up

The song is struggling hopefully his Ellen performance works (some artists don't even get a boost), but seeing how he appeals to Ellen's viewers he should go at least top 80 on iTunes.

Yeah I'm curious how Fly would do, but I'm setting my expect ions low seeing how Raging Fire did. Also Fly's iTunes placement won't be fueled by the preorder like other songs recently (e.g. Coldplay with Midnight, The Black Keys with Fever, etc) because he hasn't had any preorders yet.

If I remember correctly, Where We Came From reached like high 50s, low 60s on iTunes and was there the whole week. "Fly" might do better because the sales climate is so ****. Please be an album artist Phillip

No sis the song didn't even reach the Top 100

Edit: Also for the first day of preorder for his first album reached the top 40. Then for his second and third he reached around 25 then went down to around the 60s until it was released.

Yes the failure of the the single to break into the top 100 on iTunes is a sign of a small Idol fanbase. I also think it's much smaller than the S10 winner. . .

By the week ending 10/02/2011, Scotty's EP had sold 187k, and Clear as Day opened with 197k on the 10/09/2011.

Phillip's EP sold 82k by week ending 09/23/10.

If the assume that these numbers are representative of the core fanbase, which makes up most of the first week buyers, then Phillip's Moon first week sales would be around 80k.

Afterwards, assuming that Phillip will have substantial promo, it will depend on whether people like his album or not, imo.

I've been lurking Mjsbigblog since Season 7 of American Idol and all the laughs the comments have given me through the years

Scotty Mcreery ep and album sold more than Phillip. Scotty's season had better ratings and he appealed to the one direction we type of fans (rabid fans) but look at him for his second album His first album went platinum after 13 weeks I believe (which were the weeks of the holiday season) and then he didn't sell much at all. Also his album was released almost two months before Phillip's so he gained more sales sooner because of the holiday season. Phillip I think gained some fans out of the Idol bubble so that's good
