I think they are, because I already know THIF is going to garner a LOT of attention when the album comes out due to the features alone.

She doesn't want a JLO A.K.A/First Love/Booty situation. Pretty much Jen released First Love as the 2nd single, but Booty essentially cannibalized it because all the interviewers and radio stations were so much more interested in hearing about Booty than First Love (at this point in time Booty wasn't out yet).

By the time Booty released it was a success, but it would have been so much bigger if it were released when the hype was at it's peak. The A.K.A. album sales would have fared much better too.

Ci doesn't want this to happen with her single.

I chalked it up to different reports from different people at the listening party mislabeling DUI.

I don't think official titles were given out to attendees, they were just passed around by word of mouth.

Exactly. But ci situation is different, I heard dr luke is guaranteed a single due to him executive producing most of it, but they may be leaning towards the polow single and dr. Luke might not be having it. I hope 🙏 they both are released and smash and they go with the best single. This is the same thing that happened with the underdogz(hence why they added some of their tracks onto this album to fufill contractual agreements) may be happening again.

OWA being on the standard also leads me to believe she might have to release it as a single too.

I'm just talking out of my ass on this one, but why include a 3 year old track on all copies of the album, if it's not gonna be a single?
