I just finished watching this, and as a Canadian who'd never seen The Brits before and didn't know who half of the people were, I really enjoyed it.
Thoughts:
The whole show was laid back but still classy, not rigid like the Grammys but not stupid like the VMAs either.
The host was actually really funny! I laughed when he introduced Nicole as "the only Pussycat doll you remember."
I'd never heard anything by Olly Murs before today. I liked that "Heart skips skips a beat" song.
Ed Sheeran: WOW! I've never paid attention to him because he's a ginger, but I am now obsessed with Lego House and A Team. Amazing!
Rihanna gave a GREAT performance. It seems like she's been taking lessons and really putting work in to get her singing and dancing top notch. I was very impressed.
Bruno and Adele: Can you not sing year old songs? Thanks.
One Direction winning anything is ridiculous, but I guess those Directioners voted their asses off...
Watching the International Breakthrough award, I was assuming Nicki had it in the bag. I didn't even know who any of the others were. Then Lanna DelRay won and gave the worst acceptance speech I've ever heard...
Speaking of Nicole Scherzinger, she looked STUNNING. And anyone who doesn't know who Cesc Fabregas is obviously doesn't watch ANY soccer
Rihanna also looked beautiful and sexy. This is my favorite look of her's since AGLM.
Almost all of the stars came across as so down to Earth, especially Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, and Tinie Tempah. I wish he had performed! I'm waiting on that second album!
Adele getting cut off at the end!! Omg! What made it even worse was the fact that Blur (whoever they are) were HORRIBLE. I had to fastforward most of that 20 minute performance.
All in all great show, and I have some new songs to go download!
