Roger was such a good friend of mine back in 2005-2006! Really a very intelligent and nice person, but sadly we lost touch first time I took a few months off ATRL... And then he disappeared for a while as well. Now it's not easy to see him posting, but at least he's still here.

Never knew about those sexual discussions though, since I basically never posted on the Pics thread and stuff.

She's a big part of ATRL, but I'm under the impression TRL Girl is multi-polar.  She has acted in so many different ways over the years it seems like she's more than just one person.

Alejandro has also changed quite a lot, but you can see he's mostly acting out, so I wouldn't say it's some kind of 'condition'. I know there's a high possibility he will see this post of mine and try to trash me, but it's ok, I still like him a lot.

I can't attest to h0's beginnings, but from what I've heard, being mischieviously malevolent was kinda his thing. h0's idea of fun was hacking someone's account, or posting that beloved "anal ripping" picture anywhere he could. Some people liked it, some people didn't.
Shane, however, started as a nice kid. He was very young (like ten or eleven) and just wanted to be down with the chat crew. So he did things that would make him ashamed. There are so many people I don`t know , but well, most of them were active on 2004 or 2005 so there is no way I have known them active
There are many senior members posting here, ( they came back from the dead ) it`s like a flashback to the good ATRL times, I enjoy almost all their posts, they are reall nice.
And I suppose that trend of not knowing anybody will continue xD. Looking forward to see Orange though

I want to see where Kworb lands. He's such an essential piece to the success of the Charts section. One of the main reasons I finally registered. I stayed in the charts area for the first few months of my registration.

2008 started as a wasteland year on ATRL. Many, MANY old members were either gone, leaving, or on the cusp of deucing out (including yours truly.) There were a lot of new faces, brought on by the switch of name (from ATRL to Popfusion and back), but none had really stepped up to the plate. There was no one to really galvanize the masses.
Until NorMal came. A streetsmart Brandy stan, he practically introduced things that everyone takes for granted now - black gay man lingo, championing of dance/pop artists, gifs. He knew enough to never let anyone get the upper hand on him, but also was willing to discuss music seriously. He could be strident (especially if you disagreed with him) and sometimes stood up for things on the sake of importance and not quality (KEN. DAHL.), but the ATRL of today could not have existed without him.
In fact, it's fair to say that #49 owes a LOT to him .... |

Avatars are such a common thing, that it's easy to forget that someone somewhere had to start using them at ATRL. If memory serves me correctly, Matto was one of the first. If that wasn't enough, he was an all-around swell kid who wasn't hated by anyone (and any poster knows how hard that feat is to pull off.)
