Ugh, I don't want to watch. I'd rather just view The Voice performance over and over.
She does need lessons because she actually has a nice tone to her voice. I can't believe she hasn't had any ever. Maybe this will be an eye-opening experience for her.
Terry Ronald coached her and Girls Aloud. She doesn't need singing lessons, she needs better vocal chords, which is impossible because that's what mother nature gave her, stop smoking and controlling her nerves better than she does.
In general terms It wasn't a great show, the CIN Rocks the Albert Hall show was 1000 times better, everybody performing did great that night unlike tonight, even the artists that everybody expected to be amazing were simple average at best.

I love her but if she still wants to be going in 5-10 years she needs to improve her live singing, I was actually annoyed to discover a few weeks ago that she has never had a singing lesson in her life, which I think is shocking for a singer.
She did look beautiful too and I will still support her this era.
Did she really say that? why did she lie? she had a vocal coach (I don't know if she still has one), which is better than singing lessons... lessons that are usually pointless.
I've been studying voice for like about 6 years, I can finally control, more or less, my voice... I prefer working in therapy speech because the voice has never been my strongest point. Some of my uni mates are amazing at it though and they learned really quickly... it's just a bit abstract. There is people that after 30 vocal lessons (not singing lessons because their purpose has nothing to do with singing but about not damaging their vocal chords) still can not find their projection point so they use their diaphragm wrong and they still use the vocal chords badly.
If she really has not had singing lesson I think she should try, although I'm not sure it would help her, I think she needs someone more professional, it would be better for her a phonoaudiologist/speech therapist (of the voice)

Yes Girls Aloud had a vocal coach, but it doesn't mean Cheryl used them. She admitted in the radio interview that she tried it a couple of times but didn't like it so stopped, but hopefully that will be changing and she will be starting again.
She is getting absolutely slated for this today, their are articles on who was worse Will.i.am or Cheryl, articles saying she sounded like a squawking budgie etc. So if I was in her team I would tell her about the criticism, advise her to get lessons and also listen to her sing Telescope live and if she does it well get her to sing it on Graham Norton completely live on Thursday to try and prove her critics wrong, plus the song is only a couple minutes long so hopefully she could still perform Call My Name, if not then she should perhaps to an acoustic performance of the song like this,
Can you stop worrying so much about the haters? such an overreaction, not even the newspapers are talking bad about it. It is no different to the reaction Katy Perry got after singing Firework.
She needs to sell the song, doing an acoustic performance would be stupid. And Terry Ronald worked with her during 3 Words... not only in Girls Aloud.

This isn't about the haters though, even fans have agreed this was a bad performance and it is time she did something about her voice, it just isn't good enough to be doing performances like that, so either she tries to improve or stops doing those types of songs. And are you kidding the papers slated her in the UK.
Well Cheryl lied in her interview for whatever reason, she did say she has only had lessons a couple of times. And it wouldn't be stupid, it would still sell the song and help win people over, as many think she is a terrible singer.
am the only one bothered there's no previews?? I could care less about the leak I dont want it to leak but no previews??
And at the jubilee performance lol it was bad, But not THAT bad. But i do see why ppl taLK **** BUT WE ALL NOW THE uk PRESS always makes a big deal outta everything she does....good or bad.
Yeah I am moving on from the Jubilee performance now, she has alot coming up over the next few weeks for us to look forward to, so really exciting times ahead.
I think we might get previews on Friday, they can't wait much longer tbh.

The papers didn't slate her... she was on the cover of 2 or 3 instead of The Queen and they didn't say anything, I can just remember one article by the Daily Mail (there were another 3 articles where they didn't say anything bad about it) and one from the Mirror where they were taking the piss out of the performance.
Do you know something about Voice to talk so easily about it? I had to study 4 years to know everyhting about it...

She got a beating for that performance in the newspapers and the online blogs, plus on alot of the forums etc. I didn't say she was front page news being slated for this, I said the newspapers slated her performance, which they did.
I don't give a **** whether you studied for four years or not, I have working ears and she put on a terrible live vocal, accept it as you are coming across deluded, even her biggest fans have came out and said the same thing. Cheryl should take some lessons and try to improve her voice, she will never become a Beyonce, but she can learn alot from it.

Where have I said she sounded good? WHERE? What I'm saying is that she can not improve, full stop, she needs to study every performance with a vocal coach some days prior the performance but a singing coach won't help her at all. That's what I'm saying if you bothered enough to read it.
