Looks like an early winter for Gwen, as she only has one song remaining after this elimination. I really, really enjoy this song. I gave it a 9. It's Gwen going back to her pop-rock roots, where she's so comfortable. The track's lyrics are dark and sad, yet the instrumental still feels somewhat light/poppy. That's always a nice contrast. The bridge is a real highlight, with Gwen's lovely high notes. What are y'alls thoughts?

Four, tres, two, uno. Nueve. Nine. This song is number nine. This is perhaps the most adventurous and craziest song of the rate, right up there with "Wind It Up" and "Yummy." However, this song manages to make the crazy work 100%, unlike the other two. As I was saying with Fergie's other songs, she is just somehow able to make all this campy pop work! My favorite part has to be the rap, where Fergie shows off some pretty impressive skills. She's got a great flow. Azealia WHO??? This song is full of hooks; they just keep punching you, one after the other! This is probably in my Top 5 for the whole rate. It's a shame this song didn't reach #1 on the charts; I believe her label took the song off iTunes for a couple days, which affected its sales and its chances at #1

"Early Winter" is good but a bit overrated.
"Fergalicious" isn't quite perfect either but it should be higher.

Don't shoot the messenger! I know a lot of you won't be pleased with this. I have such a love/hate relationship with this song. I loved it when I first heard it on the Verizon commercials back in the day. But then I was underwhelmed when I heard the full version when it became a single. It just felt overly-cutesy. I can bop to it nowadays, but I still don't think it's perfect. Therefore, I gave it an 8. This song samples heavily from "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", but I think X does a good job of making it her own. I always giggle at the line, "He's a one-stop shop with a real big *ugh*" because I'm immature.
