Ne-Yo does some amazing stuff for others (Russian Roulette for Rihanna, Irreplacable for Beyonce), but all of the songs performed by him are pure...sh!t.

Artists work with several producers in the making of an album. Just because she works with him, doesn't mean the material will make it onto the album. For you to assume she isn't trying something different, or not experimenting with a different genre is far too premature.
