Gay people are so annoying. What do you do about the people who dislike you in your every day lives? And if you'll kill yourself over what some bonehead says, you were ALWAYS irrelevant.

There are plenty of celebrities that do not like your asses and only claim so for monetary gain. Yet you furnish their homes and other things...

Why was I reported for telling the truth? LOL this is exactly what I was talking about. You guys want to censor everybody but you cannot. I do not agree with the guy from DD. But people have the right to freedom of speech. Just because someone expresses their opinion about gays does not mean they should be censored because YOU don't like it. Who are you?

There is hate in both sides. When people who oppose gay marriage speak up they are flaimed, bashed, and reported. Eventually they just don't enter the threads any more and the next group of people come in to get hurt. ATRL's problem is that it is impossible to debate anything because people don't care about opinions and educating. They care only about their agenda and anyone who opposes it is irrelevant. Ironically, everyone here has a common thread, a deep love for music. This could help bind us together as a community and educate others on why we believe in what we do,, but people are not educated enough/mature enough to handle that.

That is why there is war. Both sides have parties have people who represent that are ignorant and intolerant. The civil rights movement was a success largely in part because or the peacefulness of the blacks. The white people looked like fools. On this site, people on oth sides are fools. Let's get along people! Remember, there is a real person you are responding to you on the only side on your screen. Treat them like it.

No because a lot of gay people are starting to feel like gays are bullying people too. It's funny how the gays and their posse wants to come for certain people but other people get a pass. I don't see nobody dragging Eminem and he's CONSTANT homophobic without being an apologist. But the gays and their posse (Glaad and other alliances) only go after people when they feel like they will back down or don't have a big fanbase outside of the gays. It's called selective outrage. If they don't agree with your lifestyle, they have the right to. It's people like you that want to bully them into suppressing how they feel to appease you.

I said only on this site, so obviously I am talking about words, not acts.

I am referring to the people who bash, drag, and flame opinions in opposition of gay marriage. Call me crazy, but wouldn't it be beneficial to hear the side of those who oppose you and show them righteousness? Calling someone's opinion "irrelevant" is offensive. Throwing around the word "homophobia" is wrong. It turns this site into one side and that one side whines and complains about the world. When some explains their thinking they are bashed and beat into submission. they they go back to whining and complaining about the site.

I am for gay marriage and equality regardless of sexual orientation, but I like to hear the opinions of those in opposition. They often are misguided and have the wrong idea. My opinion was changed by several sensible people both in person and online.

Just ask yourself, "what good is this post doing?" That is my point.

Being gay is not a "lifestyle". Opinions are opinions but they aren't just opinions anymore when they infringe on another person's rights. I don't see how this is so hard to understand

A better way to respond would be to explain why homosexuality is NOT a lifestyle. You are attacking those who believe that. CLEARLY, they are wrong, so point it out and explain why. Inform those who live in ignorance.

My friend likes to have sex with two men at the same time. That is a lifestyle. My neighbor like to smoke crack. That is a live style. I want to marry the man I love after being in a commitment I have been in for 5 year. That is not a lifestyle. It is a right I am unfairly not entitled to.
