Snippets were out in late Sept and the album came out early Nov.
It also makes sense to what Rob said a while ago on Twitter that it will get interesting round Coachella.

You can't always compare these things to the way she did them the last era. The music business is constantly evolving and Lana isn't a traditional artist anyway. She could be the type to keep silent, then all of a sudden release the single/video out of nowhere. Her dad mentioned things happening around Coachella. It would make sense for her to release around that time because of the festival exposure.

I don't think she will do something like the snippets again. She did it and probably won't do it again. Especially not too far ahead of the album.

I think she will do anything to prevent a possible leak. This might also result in an announcement and then dropping the album soon after. I don't know.

exactly, to prevent any chances of leak, the announcement should come near to the official release, and she can announce the release of the album and the single seperately!
