The Lord calls Her out, but she doesn't come, and the Lord gives up on her, but secretly hopes that Emily will arrive to stop Hersuffering. Even if She opens Herself to pain (I'll leave my window open/ Cuz I'm too tired at night to call your name), She stills expects Emily to come back (Just now I'm right here hoping/That you'll come in with the rain) .

Are you talking about Come In With The Rain? It is an old expression and basically the song is saying the person is going to stop trying to win this person's love and allow them to come to them when they realize they feel the same way. One of my fave Taylor songs.
Carly lives on Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts so it makes more sense that she'd be at one of the Gillette Stadium shows next week. Doesn't she suffer from really bad stage fright though?
The S&S performance was not a mess, but she was flat at some parts. And it's probably smart of her to choose to song the "Oooohhhs" in chest voice instead of head voice (like she does on record) since her chest one is stronger and more resonant. Anyway, I want her to play Starlight again.
