She was locked up in an asylum, raped, chased by monsters, got her lover killed, was about to be killed 400 times, blinded, it turned out her husband wanted to kill her, she was hated by her mother then she was kept hidden for thirty years.

Yes-- Each season, she plays the underdog that gets abused but ends up fine.
Maybe I should kill Sarah off in my season.

Just watched the final episode, this was the best finale this show ever had. So much better than the previous finales and I dare to say this episode was the best episode of this season. Gosh I'm gonna miss Elsa
Also Ethel and Ma Petite
And Wes Bentley making another appearance

Omg are you ****ing kidding me? Stop blaming the writers/producers and pay attention a little. Dot realized she didn't have anyone but Bette and decided not to have that surgery and stay with her sister a few episodes ago

Anyone notice that Dandy was humming the Nutcracker theme as he was shooting everyone. He was also dressed in all white with a red heart in his pocket, and shot everyone in the head. Queen of Hearts anyone?
Or am I just reaching to the heavens.

And if we are to understand Jessica is officially leaving from Ryan's tweet, for next season as the female lead I want either Michelle Pfeiffer or Sigourney Weaver. And I want Wes Bentley and Matt Bomer cast as series regulars, with Frances, Kathy, Sarah, Finn and Angela returning.
In my wildest dreams though, I want to see Helena Bonham-Carter as the lead of AHS for just one season, preferably with Johnny Depp as the leading male.

This season was an absolute joke
It literally went nowhere for thirteen episodes
By far the worst one yet

Well since it didn't go anywhere, you better go somewhere with that mess to make up for the past 3 months.

OMG
I can't believe I DEFENDED this season for WEEKS, only to be betrayed in the end
This season was hot, stinky garbage. I'm mad I invested so much energy, I should have seen it coming when they killed off Twisty. I guess it's positive the story is renewed every season, it gives an opportunity to reinvigorate the formula

The massacre scene was no where near as good as the one in Coven and I was annoyed at seeing everyone get killed off again but I took that back after seeing the great ending with Mordrake and the Freakshow together again. The part with Dandy chasing Desiree was heartbreaking, I'm happy she survived.
Next season desperately needs to bring back the horror though because this season was really lacking in that department and not at all what I expected.

Wait, what happened to Stanley then? Did he just rot in that cage?
And Dandy got the slowest, most painful death of them all. He deserves it!

I've dragged the entire season, because a lot of the episodes were completely useless, and lacked something the previous seasons captured, the element of horror. It's my least favorite season, but I will say the finale was quite good, and possibily the best episode of the entire season. Dandy going on the rampage was kind've a big eye opener, I thought it was done, quite well as well, with the idea of more recently sickos actually going about on these rampages, especially in America, the fact that I thought the she-male was going to kick Dandy's ass, but ended up being killed, was actually a shock. Angelia Basset hiding in the closet was really done great. Their revenge on Dandy was done great, I like Angel's ending, with just her family, it was nice to see a "freak" live a normal life. that she considered "fine" but was more than happy to accept "fine" I didn't really understand Evan's and Sarah's endings, because he completely rejected them in a few episodes back, and their never was any chemistry between them, or so it felt. And Elsa, well Jessica always brings it. And she did a pretty good job this time around, although I could've seen more, a more convincing husband, flashbacks of their downfall, why they lost at love, other than her just saying they cheated, it would've been nice to find out why they fell apart, probably because of 'fame' but she didn't have to marry him if that was the case, because he was her manager regardless, and wanted to help her from the moment he met her. I didn't feel the connection between her wanting love with the jazz singer guy from coven, and him having to reject her, whereas in coven she rejected him, but ended up living in a world, where she was stuck with him and his (love) which she didn't want, but in this season she wanted it. Also the connection of the dead being stuck in a murder house in season one, and now this time stuck in the freak show, so it's a message of their being life after our lives on earth (or so Ryan portrays) I think they did a fairly good job rapping it up, but the overall season was a mess, and had tiresome story lines, that felt like Ryan trying to make up 13 episodes of this show, which actually isn't a lot. I guess I took away what I always thought I would, which was we're all "freaks" to one another, but just be who you are, and do what you love. I guess?
I want Jessica Lange to return in season 5, because she is so memorable, and her acting is brilliant especially for television, but I 100% understand if she decides to not return, as the level of writing fell short this season.
Also Kathy Bates character (or possibly her acting) was a miss this season, so I don't really care if she comes back for season 5 or not, it'd be nice to see her face return as a character, but if she doesn't I won't be at a huge loss, other then the fact that they got the name Kathy Bates in their opening title.

I also took away from this season that Ryan Murphy and I might have similar musical influence
I feel he is a massive Lady Gaga fan, a true little monster at heart.
I probably am reading to much into things, but the fact that Cole Porter was advertised as Dandy's songbook (Which was a big part of Cheek to Cheek), and the fact that he mentioned Anything Goes (the first track on Cheek to Cheek) Elsa always saying Scheiße (I also know she is german but it just fits)
Also the fact that Heroes by David Bowie was played, which was the car song in Perks of Being a Wallflower which stuck with me.
and Gods and Monsters one of my favorite Lana Del Rey songs.
I'm sure their were more.

just watched it. it was an okay episode. i liked it, but i felt that Dandy's massacre was too quick and easy. a gun was too easy, where was the showmanship hunty? Also, why did they stick around the freakshow after pinning him down and telling him they quit? they should have gotten the hell outta there after putting him in his place.
Aside from that, no complaints. But the episode could have been more dramatic.
edit: Oh and I don't understand why Elsa was so ashamed of the snuff video. She was brutally attacked and had her legs ****ing SAWED off. SHE was the victim. Why were they making her feel like **** for being mutilated instead of supporting her?
