Just came back from It Follows. Went in with no expectations because I try to never listen to hype. Despite not listening to the hype, I still believe it is generally overrated. Creepy, but not necessarily scary.

Loved the atmosphere, the tension, the visuals, and the score.

I think the overall story could really be ironed out and felt it really did not go anywhere.

Still refreshing to see something quite new and different and like there was actually thought and creativity and passion behind it.

I saw that at SXSW last year and I really didn't enjoy it. I thought it was...just...bad. Everyone I saw it with there didn't like it either. Maybe I'll have to give it another try.

I just watched Chimeres, a french vampirism film, and holy **** was it fantastic.

It's not just a horror film, it's a love story, and ultimately, a story about altruism. There's very little dialogue, so don't worry about the fact that it's in french (the version I watched had subtitles anyway). Incredible performances by the two main actors. Simplistic yet brilliant. I was stunned by the things that she was willing to do for him. At first I was impressed by her loyalty, but then it just kept getting worse and worse, and then... well I'll just say the ending was incredible.

Nnn, i saw it more like Black Swan because of the girl wanting to get fame and doing what ever she can to land in Hollywood. Also when she was in bed dying, and seeing her evil famous self as her innocent self is dying. But i do see the Contracted similarity? Only when she sells her soul, and then goes into a dying phase.

But i saw Girlhouse and *sigh* i liked it, i would recommend it. But lawd it made me think twice about doing nude cam for a side job
I Got life when Nicole from ANTM was in it but she died horribly at the pool, i was rooting for her

Also, although it’s not a horror movie. Interstellar was a beautifully crafted movie that gave an experience like never before.

MY ****ING GOD IT FOLLOWS WAS PERFECTION!!

Like wow. My friend and I were totally speechless. It was so crazy and so creative, and the ****ing score by Disasterpiece really set the mood. I already listened to the OST a couple weeks ago and was slain but it was definitely perfectly used.

The ending had us PISSED at first but after we sat and let it sink in we really appreciated it and I think it was genius. It leaves so many questions and has you thinking so much more than if we saw who died, or if the person following them was even "it". We talked about the movie all night, bouncing off theories etc. The pool scene was incredible, and while I hate to admit it, I knew that "it" was going to throw the electric devices into the water as soon as Jay went in because in the beginning Hugh said that "it" may be slow but it's smart. Either way, that was a really cool way to twist their plan.

Now I just need to see it again...

Just this morning we were the first to tell you that Radius-TWC wanted a sequel to David Robert Mitchell’s absolutely fabulous It Follows (read our review).

Following up on the news was EW, who caught up with Tom Quinn, co-president of Radius-TWC. He reveals that they’re already plotting the follow-up that could literally flip the script, and the title.

“I don’t want to give away too much, but we’ve thought about it,” said Quinn before teasing title plans. “Flip the title. There’s so much you could do.”

EW speculates on what Quinn means, and I really like what they’re going for.

“If Quinn is hinting at the title Follow It—a really empowering reversal, if you think about it—the plot could have characters tracing their partners’ sexual histories to track the curse’s origin (while evading the killer creature), which would give the movie a strong allegorical element similar to the first film’s,” EW writes. “The original’s heroine, Jay, or possibly an entirely new lead would have to take a literal journey through the messy ties of past sexual partners, a task that undoubtedly comes with its own lessons and parallels to the titular IT.”

BTW I've been looking for "the witch" trailer and its NOWHERE wtf all I could find was pics from the movie and it looks like its set up in medieval times or something like that.

OMG... that's ****ing genius...

At first I wasn't here for the thought of a sequel because perfect movies like this should remain untouched, but that's a REALLY great idea and would actually continue the theme/metaphor of the main movie instead of being a disconnected cash grab like most horror sequels.

I'm so hype right now
