The **** this gotta do with the BTW era? That era didn't test any Monsters, the ones who jumped, just flat out jumped, and the ones who stayed, well, stayed.
I'd say ARTPOP has been more of a test with the less success, worse music, less promo, and no second music video.
So, if anything, stuck in a perpetual ARTPOP era.
