"Infinity" gives me Unconditionally teas in the chorus, in that the way she pronounces it is totally unnatural and the syllable stress is all wrong. It'll be interesting to see what fefe thinks because he stans Mariah but picked Unconditionally apart for this exact same reason.

It should be IN-FIN-I-TY, not IN-FIN-I-TY.

Not "picked Unconditionally" apart I actually like Uncle. But anyway, I don't hear what you're talking about actually. I think the syllable stress sounds completely natural. Her strained vocals on the other hand But I still love the song on the whole

I was going to write "dislikes Uncle", but I didn't think that was the case, so I went with "picked apart". And surely you do? She says it fine in the actual chorus I guess, it's more the post chorus where she said IN-FIN-A with absolutely no syllable stress and then the TYYYYYYYYYYYYY which is just as exaggerated (if not more) than the TION in Unconditionally.

Still, one of the better Mariah songs I've heard as of late.

Also, listening again and she DOES stress the "fin"--also, that word has stress on the second and fourth syllables and she does both.

There's an end to infinity, to infinityyyYyyyYYyyYYyyy etc.

If anything she stresses the "i" in the first infinity too (IN-FIN-I-TY). There's a distinct pause between the in and the fin in the first infinity which is completely absent in the second one, I don't see the bolded stress you've indicated there at all. But it's no big deal. It's not as horrible sounding as Unconditionally I will say that, so she kinda pulls it off. But it was really noticeable to me on first listen.
