No, that means the part is written specifically for the voice type. A mezzo-soprano is most comfortable in the middle register, a soprano at her higher register. Sopranos like Nicole can sing high but have ****** lower registers (e.g verses of Boomerang and Don't Hold Your Breath) so by singing the Evita part, she isn't singing in the key she is most comfortable in. Unless they raise the key of the song..

Madonna can't sing. Even with the intensive vocal training she did for Evita she still sounded bad to okay. lol
