Capitol is becoming increasingly stupid when it comes to picking Katy's singles. They should've waited until Dark Horse slowed the hell down before even thinking about sending Birthday out as the new single. Honestly i blame part of the floppage of birthday on that ****-show of a video that the label let her put out Who did they think that video would appeal to? teenage girls the general public and queens saying "wow this video is so great let me buy the song?" Give me a break. She needs to release Walking on Air as her next single, perhaps she should remix it with somebody cough cough Madonna cough cough to make it fresh.

Legendary Lovers would've been a good choice back when Katy was infallible but as her recent flops show, not even katy is invincible to bad promo and videos.

Yup. This sounds like "new" katy (roar, DH) whereas uncle and birthday sound like teenage dream Katy. The public wants the new ****. I'm still pressed birthday is only a moderate hit, so I'm keeping my expectations low til the next era

I'm guessing/hoping LL is next. WoA will be the 6th single only if LL smashes. Otherwise.. end the era after LL and release the new album (with a new sound) in the fall of 2015
