Yeah, I have no idea how well it will do on pop.
- Needed Me is more pop-friendly than Work (because a lot of pop listeners didn't like the fact that they couldn't understand a lot of the lyrics in Work), and that got to #8 on pop.
- However, Kiss It Better is more pop-friendly than both Work and Needed Me and got to #22 on pop.
- The reason I think Kiss It Better did worse on pop, despite being better for pop radio, than Work is because it wasn't as big a hit overall.
- Needed Me is already bigger overall than Kiss It Better, but almost certainly won't be as big as Work, so I think it should get higher than #22 at least. It might be able to go top 10 and maybe even do better than Work as the lyrics aren't in gibberish lol, but I'm not really sure. It might peak at #20 or something, which I'd be fine with. Once it peaks she can move onto the next single, and that pop airplay will help its sales a bit and Hot 100 position.
