Asylum does not need any other name. It is perfect, and captures the spirit of AHS as it is meant to be.
Coven was totally out of left field. I don't think anyone thought of that name back when we guessed Season 3 would be about witches. Many people were thinking it would be called AHS: Salem.

Calling it Circus is not correct, though. It's distinctly a Freak Show, so it still resembles the show and is very obvious about the theme of the show. A Circus and a Freak Show are not the same thing.
Asylum is plain and obvious, just like Hotel is. It doesn't represent anything about AHS; it represents the season itself.
As for Coven, it's still pretty obvious to what it entails, bu it's name. We're talking about what the name says about the season, not the other way around.

That reminds me of the most negative thought I've had this entire time. It's that we know the show's gonna end sooner or later, and I have absolutely no clue how they could wrap something like this up without coming up with some cringe-worthy season that connects all of them as if there was a giant endgame.

That's true but only because they actively chose to separate the two. Many circuses comes with a sideshow of freaks attached. I think there was a little plotpoint about how Elsa was involved in the circus but did not like it and found the circus stars boring and arrogant and liked the freaks better because they were more entertaining, so she purposely broke off and started a freaks-only show.
Asylum is a very dark title. You don't need to dress it up. They could have chosen to call it Madhouse for all we know, but that wouldn't have worked as well as Asylum.
It does need to be obvious, but calling it something like Resort would be less direct than Hotel. I don't need it to be called Resort or anything, but I wanted something less in-your-face than Hotel.

The endgame will be about the Devil, the AntiChrist and Hell. If Ryan Murphy knows what he's doing that is. I pointed out earlier how one of those things have had a prominent impact on each season on AHS so far.

I don't understand what's so in-your-face about "Hotel". It speaks for itself, and it's clear the season is going to be set in a hotel, just like "Asylum" made it obvious that the season was set in a mental hospital and "Freak Show" showed it was centered around a freak show. The titles aren't meant to have flares to them or be creative; they're just raw, basic physical & thematic setting.

I do think they'll eventually not have the location/setting as the title, Coven wasn't the setting or the building it mostly took place in, if that was the case it would have been AHS: Academy.
There are loads of amazing titles they can come up with if they dont limit themselves.

If anyone watches Doctor Who, or even if you don't, look up the episode "The God Complex" of it. Others have given the idea that the hotel might be some hell/purgatory/whatever, and that's kind of covered in that Doctor Who episode, which sounds... intriguing.

I think Hotel is the most basic AHS title so far. As mentioned earlier, the other titles had some kind of edge to them that Hotel lacks. Like Asylum has an edge to it that infers some eerie stuff is gonna go down. Hotel is kind of a basic word and gives me a Zack and Cody Suite Life tea.

IMO Hotel will definitely be another Supernatural/Paranormal season ala MH and Coven. Asylum had the Devil and Aliens plot, but it really most centered around Lana and Bloodyface later on, and Freak Show was mostly about the Freaks surviving and Dandy just being psycho.
They should really just go all out with evil spirits and ****, since MH had to make them human and likable. Hotel would be amazing if it showed evil Spirits, Demons and Poltergeists.

I bet the hotel will be built on Indian burial grounds.

They all smoke a pack of cigarettes, drink a martini and then they start the fight. Fiona paces across the room and bitch slaps Constance, who falls and breaks her neck before she can say the words, "proud Virginian". Elsa hits Jude with a throwing knife, and Fiona, in a random burst of rage, flings both of them out of the window.

There's nothing Fiona hates more than a racist.

Yes, which is why I'm shocked you're actually listing good ideas as if you expect them from him.

Exactly. Boiling down all of Native culture down to a twist he saw in Poltergeist is right up his alley.
