Well I got it a day before the USA did because it was released a day earlier here. But yes.
Such an awesome game. It's soo much better than reboot in general -- it is a massive improvement from it in every aspect. The ending is so much more engaging and isn't so sudden; the lead-up to it is phenomenal and the final challenge before you beat the game is great -- pretty clever. The final challenge in reboot was underwhelming because you're confined in a small space trying to kill some lame armored, slow monster. This time, the enemy force is actually challenging and you have to overcome it in a way you will not suspect. I wont give spoilers, but you're given a moral choice to make. The events after that are touching and gives you a good sense of what Lara's next adventure will be!
I'm gonna go play it again on the hardest difficulty now. My favourite part was the snowy level at night near the start just because it was so damn gorgeous. There's a similar level to it towards the end-ish, but set during the day, which is also extremely stunning. Geothermal Valley was breathtaking too. Tomb Raider always thrives in natural, beautiful scenery environments as opposed to industrial levels. Remember shanty town from reboot, and the shipwrecked beach too? God these levels were ****ing ugly.
Really good game. They didn't lie when they said it takes 30-40 hours to complete it entirely. Should also mention that all the flashbacks were a fantastic touch. I wish I could have experienced it in Xbone instead of 360 but it still looked good.
