I love the backlash. I have no problem with Christina lip syncing because I'd rather see her dance than hear her sing live any time. It maybe wasn't the wisest choice for her since everyone seems to think Christina has some sort of credibility as an artist and a obligation to sing live 100% of the time, but I for one was happy to see her act like a modern day pop star for once, shake her ass, and give up on trying to be the "voice of the generation" crap.
