I am right here! Nothing in that article disputes a single point I raised.
I mean. You just LIED about what the article said. One judge on the panel has a history of corruption, not two.
The way you word it the simple fact that the judge is Russian makes her corrupt. Which is stupid....
Also. I never said rigging an event was impossible. I said that rigging in ICE DANCE with the USA and Russian judge was not possible because two judges are not enough to pull it off. You can remain pressed and bothered that D/W out-skated V/M though. It is cute.
I can tell you exactly how Yu-Na lost.
1. Yu-Na landed 6 triples while Adelina landed 7.
2. Adelina had more difficult and faster spins.
3. Go watch the step sequences. Adelina's was far more intricate.
Outside of those areas they were roughly tied in scores. I don't really agree with the result (especially the margin), but I see where the judges were coming from.
Where did I lie? I didn't write the article. I highlighted the point made in the article that 1 judge may have had reason to be biased (unproven) but that another had a history of proven corruption and THAT appeared to be enough to sway the results. This contradicts the statement you had previously made about two corrupt judges being on a panel not being enough to sway an outcome. Clearly, 1 is all you need, Regardless of the specific discipline (dance vs singles).
You never used the word impossible about rigging an outcome, but you said it would be very difficult () and I disagreed. I was right. You can't say it's hard to cheat in ice dance but then possible to cheat in the singles event.
Again, where's my lie? Cheating is still very possible and arguably probable in the sport. One judge is enough to ensure that. And measures taken to prevent corruption are still clearly weak at best
Adelina's marks (especially the presentation) were grossly inflated. You don't need to keep trying so hard to discredit Yuna and justify Adelina's win. You won't convince me otherwise and you won't convince me there's no cheating in skating
" Instead of being remembered as Vancouver's gold medalist or Sochi's silver medalist, I want them to remember that there was a skater/athlete, Yuna Kim"
She wants them to remember her for who she is and her character, not her achievements.

I love her so much. so gracious
She says that she's disappointed because of the way the score turned out but more than that, she's also really happy/sad about how she's finished w/ice skating now
Adelina may have had the harder free skate but what about the short program?

Let me copy a post i made
"
Adelina got +2 and +3 on her jumps, which she didn't deserve. She has good height on her jumps and there is no control in the air and her landing doesn't have flow. These judges are blind. That's a problem.
But the real problem comes to the SECOND mark of the program, the program component score.
Take a look at the SP component scores.
Where on earth does Adelina got her scores from? Her skating skill is better than Mao, really?and .30 off of Yuna???
Is this a joke????
Her movements are unfinished. Her blades doesn't glide nicely on ice. She doesn't interpret her music, she only jumps. There is no emotions like the top skaters.
Yuna
Adelina
Mao
So this already sets up Sotnikova for her gold medal by the manipulation of the judges. These scores were given based on how the judges feel, there is NO CRITERIA and explanation as to why these scores were given.
THEN AGAIN, in the long program, Sotnikova's component scores were OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Yuna
Adelina
Mao
Polina Edmunds
Again, is this a joke?
Adelina's normal component scores are in the low 60s.
How did she gain 14 points in that area alone in a few weeks?
Oh please Concrete. You directly implied in your post that there were two corrupt judges when the fact was that one may have been corrupt 16 years ago and the other has never been corrupt, but is Russian. (Note: Russian judges tend to be Russian)
Just because some crackpot wrote an article doesn't mean you have to be a crackpot with them.
You have the most blatant pathetic agenda I have seen in a while. Keep blaming the judges for every result you don't like though........

Travesty at its finest. Figure skating is dead.
wait this gif lol
To be fair you can't really compare points competition to competition. The system doesn't work that that (though I wish it would). Scores are always inflated at big events, and YuNa didn't compete during the season for comparable scores.
Also. Adelina never really skated clean this season as I recall..... so we wouldn't have accurate component marks to compare anyways.
I DO think YuNa should have won the components section by a few points, but I don't think it would have been enough to win.

You're resulting to personal insults and calling me a crackpot and you're calling me pathetic? No need for personal insults. That's what I find pathetic.
Keep thinking all is right and fair in the world of figure skating and keep telling yourself nothing need to be done about judging.

This conversation is over.
There was never a conversation. You decided long ago that anything you don't like is fake..... one cannot have a conversation with someone so nuts
I heard that Boston would try to have the skiing venues in New Hampshire, so not even in Massachusetts
The Summer Olympics would be so much better imo. So much more relevant, and we always end up taking the most medals anyway
Not really here for the mega urban mecca's like NY, LA, and Chicago hosting though. So many people going about their lives that visiting the games will be a joke.
