I enjoy seeing so many funny hate posts about gen 5's Pokémons.

My own personal gen rating: 2 > 1 >> 4 > 3 >>> 5

That being said, I really like the trailer and how the starters/legendaries are designed, but I'm still not convinced to buy a 3DS solely to play X or Y on. Gen 5 was a cluster****. I still have yet to finish Black. Enough said.

I'm proud to still enjoy Pokemon, I practically grew up with the entire series. The wave of nostalgia when I was watching the Pokemon Direct was too much.

I always do. Because I never like any of them that much. It's rare for them to even get to their final evolution for me... In Pokemon white I used Samuratt all the way because there weren't any water types I liked in that gen, but normally water and grass are my favorite types and I don't even bother with having a fire type on my team, so I get a water or grass starter and ditch them once I can have a water or grass type I like more.

Also to the people saying they will be 20 when this game comes out, I'm with ya! I'll be almost 21 though.

1) That image is blown up and will look better on the 3DS screen.

2) The site and trailer makes it very clear the graphics and footage are not final. They have 10 months to improve them.

I prefer the new graphics to the GameCube ones... These graphics are not choppy, very crisp and they look like cartoons. Very god sprite to 3D transition, where as some of the GameCube Pokemon don't look quite so well transitioned. Idk how to explain my point well, but I like the way they did the 3D models on the DS a LOT.

I mean, note how obvious it is that wailord and exploud or whatever it's called are made out of chunky geometric shapes. Wailord is not round in that image at all, it has edges and angles from the chunky geometric 3D graphics. The new Pokemon on the other hand looks very round and fine.
