Anyway my point was that you cannon't say she isn't aware/doesn't care about these political issues shown in the music video when she's one of the only high profile celebrities bringing awareness to it.

American Oxygen is Rihanna finally bringing her world views into her art and using her influence to bring light onto these issues.

ugh idk what it is but it's been on repeat for me. i love it. the video, the song's message and how much emotion is in it. i almost would've rathered her made this the first single w/ that video as well to make a strong comeback. i feel like this is such an anthem is so easily to catch urself singing and repeating.

The song COULD be a huge smash for her, but it is ruined by this production. I cannot listen the official version, all that noise... gives me headache. The production is annoying and really does not go well with the vibe of the song.

I wish Timbaland produced this (with Justin Timberlake) this really gives me REHAB teas, a quality production would be amazing and this song could be huge.

I'm surprised that Rihanna's die-hard fans did not start an online petition. I thought they'd send e-mails/tweets to the label/Rihanna and get the song produced by someone else.

I agree that it is noisy.

The production is actually good, it's the "extraneous" effects and elements that make it sound so chaotic.

It just needs to be cleaned up a bit.

The song is already in the can tho, that would be pointless. But yes. The production is loud and obnoxious, it makes the song basically unlistenable.

If you listen to the song on Tidal, it doesn't sound messy. you guys need to be reminded that it's a rip from tidal. So, I'm anxiously waiting to hear "OMG it sounds so good on the album!!! Slay RIH!!! Smash single!"
