Omg yikes @ the lack of Isabelle. Take Amy/Ruth out of there and replace one of them with her tbh
Also lowkey feel like her performance in Things to Come is better than hers in Elle but they're both awards-worthy performances

Most of the lower tier critics' things don't mean much at all.
Though sometimes some of them can have nifty choices. Like how San Francisco was the only win for Michelle Williams' beautiful Blue Valentine performance.

They did have a category like this in its early years. That's how Judy Garland win for her Wizard Of Oz performance.

Today LAFCA will announce their winners, last year they had so many great ones (Mad Max: Fury Road everywhere, Kristen Stewart as runner up, Alicia Vikander in Ex Machina as winner, Michael Fassbender, Michael Shannon) so excited to see what they have for us this year

My country moved La La Land and Arrival from December 7 to Feb 1 next year to screen some tragic festival-rejects.

Lobster edging Manchester, Lily Gladstone edging Michelle Williams, OJ in America edging La La Land, Driver in Paterson (what?) edging Affleck are certainly daring choices.
