When I used to click on the ATRL header above, it refreshed the homepage. Now, it takes me to a thread I recently visited. Does that happen because I accidentally did something wrong? Also, can it be somehow fixed? That would be great.

The most recent problem I've been experiencing with ATRL is that when I'm writing a post, out of nowhere the whole page refreshes, erasing every post I was writing. No matter if I have one or more ATRL windows opened at the same time, they all suddenly refresh. It happens to me every three days, though, so it's not a big deal, but I'm curious to know why that happens. By the way, I use Google Chrome.

Also, I think ATRL should make a sticky thread for new members presentations, similar to this one as a way of getting to know some of the massive amount of members that join every day to the site. That would be a great idea.

Just to clarify - When you have multiple tabs of ATRL, do they all refresh at the same time? Also, have you had any non-ATRL tabs affected when this happened?

I've been going back and forth on whether to stick that thread. It'll be stuck eventually, but right now we have too many stickies. Once the server problems are resolved, we'll have room. The "Explaining ATRL Warnings" could go too.

It needs no. No one really uses it. Just move that tea in there to the OP of this thread or supercede post #2 in here with a new post #2 putting that in here.

Feedback/FAQs is an umbrella to that anyway.

Temporary solution: install this Google Chrome add-on. There's also one for FireFox (I use FF, so I use the FF one). When your problem happens, right click, click form recovery.

I've noticed a while back that in the Primary AVI (the one you upoad directly) that gifs don't work properly for me. Is there a specific size limit on the gif?; because I know some that do have one in their primary.

The highest you can go is up to 125 by 125 pixels. I've had trouble with that too one it comes to gifs. It comes looking all weird. I suggest you make the gif in smaller size?

Can we do something about thread titles that have horrific information in them? I don't like threads about child or animal abuse, but the thread titles are just as bad as the actual story. Can we name them something more generic like "[insert date] - case of abuse" or something? It really disturbs me to see the thread names in the ticker above and in the lounge.

....I was thinking, is there a way that you could omit .GIFs from being quoted?

I'm not sure if that would help the server at all, but I know it would clean up some of the threads on ATRL by making them less busy.

Make a feature that would automatically remove the .GIF posted in the member's post that you are quoting and replying to.

Bad idea/good idea?

It wouldn't help so much on the server side, but it would definitely help in making the threads less busy. We'll take a look at it.
