She did 290,000+ with no promo, a crappy VMA performance, and a mental breakdown in 2007 outside of a Christmas release. I think the Queen would do fine releasing material outside of the fourth quarter. Besides, her highest debut came from a May release. You know.....the album that holds the record for most records sold in its first week of release by a female artist?
Not to mention Britney holds the record for an artists with the most albums debuting with 500,000+ sold in its first week of release.
