2. November 30th 2004 - ‘Breakaway’ was released and everything changed
In 2004 Kelly Clarkson became the superstar she is today. Her sophmore album, Breakaway was released and ended up selling over 12 million copies worldwide. The album spawned 5 hit singles, including her most signature song, “Since U Been Gone”.
3. All Of 2005 - Kelly Clarkson takes over the world
In 2005 Kelly Clarkson slowly took over the world. Due to the success of her album Breakaway, Kelly was everywhere. Clarkson performed on Saturday Night Live for a second time, she made multiple appearances at award shows and events and gave this instant classic performance at the 2005 MTV Music Awards.
4. February 8th 2006 - Kelly Clarkson, Grammy Winner.
In 2006, Kelly Clarkson became a 2-time Grammy Award winner. The American Idol was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Since U Been Gone”. Attached is Kelly’s tearful performance of “Because Of You” at the awards.

6. January 17 2008 - November 22 2008 - Kelly joins Reba for 2 Worlds 2 Voices tour.
In 2008 Kelly went on tour with Reba McEntire. After becoming good friends through her time on American Idol and following their collaboration on Kelly’s hit song, “Because Of You” the tour seemed a no-brainer and earned Kelly crossover success and respect in the world of Country music.
7. January 13th 2009 - Kelly Clarkson releases All I Ever Wanted
In 2009 Kelly Clarkson released her fourth studio album, All I Ever Wanted, released on March 10th and debuted at #1 the following week. The album’s first single, “My Life Would Suck Without You”, released on January 13th, was a return to form for Kelly and earned her back the record of having the largest jump on the Billboard Hot 100 (from 96-1), a record she earned with her first song “A Moment Like This”. The album featured two more hit singles (“Already Gone” and”I Do Not Hook Up”).
8. November 11th 2010 - Kelly is a little country.
In 2010 Kelly dipped her foot in the Country world. Though she’d previously duetted with Reba McEntire on Reba’s version of “Because Of You”, this year marked Kelly’s first original song for the genre. With Country singer Jason Aldean, the two came together for the song “Don’t You Wanna Stay” which became a huge success for both. The song, released on November 11th 2010 went platinum in the US and the song reached #1 on the Billboard Country chart for the week of March 12th in 2011. The duet went on to win a slew of awards including two American Country Awards and two American Country Music awards.
9. October 24th 2012 - Kelly Clarkson releases Stronger.
In 2011, Kelly released her 5th studio album, Stronger on October 24th, 2012. The album debuted at #2 on the US Billboard Charts, and #4 in Canada.
10. January 2012 to present - Kelly Clarkson is everywhere, again.
In 2012, Kelly began a banner year.
