But seriously, I hope she releases something in Q1 2015. It doesn't have to be the lead single. Maybe just a buzz song on Soundcloud or whatever. Rappers and r & b girls do it and the traditional release methods that pop girls use are dying anyway, much like the pop girls themselves, so why not adjust to the new generation? She needs some young people in her team

She just gave birth to her baby girl back in August. She took the fall season off from The Voice to take care of her daughter. Rumor has it that she's been working on her new album (more r&b/hip-hop influenced) to be released in the Spring, which will coincide with her being back on The Voice for the spring season.
