The sequel starts filming this summer.. so it will probably be out spring next year

It was supposed to be out on the 2nd January or something but it's been pushed back for some reason

Well this is the plot of the film

Belle, her little sister Juliet, and her comatose twin brother James move into a new house with their single mother Joan in order to save money to help pay for her brother's expensive healthcare. But when strange phenomena begin to occur in the house including the miraculous recovery of her brother and Belle's increasingly horrifying nightmares, Belle begins to suspect her mother isn't telling her everything and soon realizes they just moved into the infamous Amityville house.

I don't think its going to be following any particular story.. it could possibly be just an entirely new story somewhat following on from the events of the remake with Melissa George.. as in they move into the house several years after the events of the 2004 film IDK

Keep a lookout for The Invitation. Just saw it at SXSW and really enjoyed it. A bit of a slow burner but shot beautifully with some great suspense.

I really enjoyed I watched cuz it was on Netflix and it was actually pretty damn good. jaymz check it out its really good imo.

Nope, he's not in it. It has Michiel Huisman and Logan Marshall-Green. It's not the best film I've ever seen, but I quite enjoyed it.

****, I also forgot to mention you HAVE to see The Final Girls. Best meta, horror-comedy in forever. In my opinion, it's better than Cabin in the Woods.

If this kind of movie sounds appealing to you, you won't be disappointed.
