I don't agree with the artists talking themselves up more than the GP says to where it appears they are trying to convince the gp this is true.
Adele slays...no need for her to say it.
Kendrick is acclaimed no need for him to brag about his classic album and grammy wins.
Drake is someone that sells but he has one grammy and is new album isn't the defining album it is supposed to be.
I feel like Drake and Nicki bragging are overcompensating except drake has great sales and his brand is more universal.
Young legend, to be clear I don't take drake seriously the one or two times he's said it even when he is currently reigning.
I don't mind them talking about their sales and wins but calling themselves the king and queen nad I own you type stuff is no longer tea after the first or 2nd time doing it.

Also this whole thing of making it about women vs men when it's benefiting a point.
But guys do it. You do realize most of the rappers that are male are not great and talking about how they are...which my point stands.
