On another note Bey's been gaining instagram followers like crazy since yesterday, over 100k+ more like 150k. And only 301 posts, no following random people to get more attention
I believe that she will release singles and promote them but will not allow single only sales. Which will become a big deal for her albums sales and could contribute to this album outselling Dangerously In Love. Especially if her team is able to MARKET the singles and they chart effectively. Leveraging the streaming for points.
People want to attribute Pirating to the decline of album sales-- but I blame iTunes and the rise of the single sale. If she keeps iTunes and gets rid of the quick lil single sale idea I believe she could sell a bucketload of records.
"Heaven" is one of the most sad, beautifully tragic songs I've ever heard. I know the video makes it seem like it could be about a friend, but what if the song is about the baby she lost? What if the "friend" in the video is actually Beyonce experiencing what her child would be doing if she had lived, and Bey is one of her friends who gets to witness it.
I thought they were a lesbian couple or something... :tofunny2:
I'mma need some interviews though. I want to know what it was like doing this, holding a secret, how hard it was to film all these, her inspirations, her aspirations. She really hasn't done an interview since Blue was born even aside from Oprah and some Super Bowl promo.
AREN'T ALL OF YOU ANGRY? She would've easily had the BIGGEST first week sales in all times! (if she had released on tuesday).
Meh. I could care less. I'm really happy about her first week sales. Not for the number but as validation for her talents and for how amazing she is. People aren't buying because it's trendy, they're buying because its truly a masterpiece.
