The chart I just posted is Pure Score.
The chart I posted Sunday was the Hitlist, which is Pure Score with your past performance/running average between the rounds factored in.

That doesn't seem fair though, why should my song's score from round 3 be affected by my previous 2 songs.

Why not just give each song the score it deserves (pure score)

I just realised that my chorus has a typo in it it should just read "queen of nothing" not "queen of the nothing". vodka, ha power!

because it rewards consistent players, ie maybe you'll have a flop week but because you've been consistently good in previous rounds, it'll save you!

Because there's a held belief that people who do consistently well do not deserve to leave for having an off week, and the Hitlist could potentially save someone who does very well usually from getting eliminated.

...Although I also think it keeps people who flop at the beginning down once they improve, but that's just me.

It's not even weighted that heavily so. One flop round will have very little to no effect on your overall Hitlist score (unless you pull a Pony).

The hitlist didn't save Moony last season, so I don't see how you could argue that it "saves" people.

The score in the table I just posted; the first two rounds were pure score. The Hitlist just came into play this round (and moving forward).
