The fact that not one but TWO songs leaked on the same night makes it look like a total publicity stunt. They're both tacky, ignorant to their fans, & unbelievable now.
Def Jam should've stopped this.

The remix was a terrible idea, but the sentiment behind it was to say that it's possible to move on from something like that. They should have done it in a different way, as people right now are thinking this means they are back together rather than just friends.

This is exactly how I see it. Rihanna is trying to show that she has moved on and has a forgiving heart. She gave her fans the song to show that all is well now, to stop the feuds and hatred towards Chris, and furthermore not let the past influence her music career. Being a son of an abused mother my parents still get along long after their divorce and she still geuinely loves the father of her children. As long as she never goes back to him then I see no problem with their relationship and they same goes for Rihanna. Was the song the best choice of collaboration, no, but I doubt Rihanna was thinking this through the way we have. And I don't believe this a prelude to a future relationship, just an announcement of a friendship they share.

I already said they went the wrong way about it. A song in the vein of LTWYL would have been better for their first collab since, not a sex song. But I still don't feel like I've been slapped in the face. Sure, I'm shocked and very disappointed in Rihanna, but I'm more concerned over the way her label allowed it, and the message she's now sending her fans. It's so surreal.

Girls, I will still ***** the **** out of Rihanna. She's my phone background, my computer background, my screensaver, on every iPod playlist, always in my CD player, on the wall of my room, etc. There is no way I'll be able to get over her, and most of you are overreacting. What she did was shocking, but in the end, it doesnt change the fact that her music *****.
