It's smarter this way. Focusing your marketing and brand on the opposition only helps them. Plus, this can conveniently transition between party unity and national unity as needed.
The crowd is much more diverse and younger than the GOP convention. Did anyone notice at the RNC last week they kept zooming in on the ONE BLACK WOMEN. I wonder if they paid her.
The Republicans clearly had all 18 of their black delegates seated close to the cameras.
Democrats are brilliant for pushing demographics in this convention. If minority status Americans voted with the same turnout rate as majority Americans, Republicans would simply not win.
I'm going to be hopeful and hope that the early behavior of the #BernieOrBusters quieted down and only helped us get some more attention. It's doubtful but the rest of the convention has been going great and filled with tons of energy. A lot of great speeches about uniting as one and from a wide variety of individuals.
