Leona is amazing! her voice is beaultiful but that song is soooo overated!
That fact that all she had to do was show up on Oprah to suddenly become this huge in the US is ridiculous... it's like people doesn't have an opinion at all! whatever Oprah or Simon from American Idol likes... everybody will start enjoying it too...
The perfect example of it is Josh Groban last year... all she had to do is give her opinion... and then Josh Groban's Noel become one of the biggest albums of 2007...

To be fair Rafael, the song was already the second biggest selling in the USA for the sales week before Oprah and had been the highest sales gainer two weeks running on the Hot100. It had been steadily climbing iTunes for weeks, eventually displacing Usher whilst Leona was halfway across the Atlantic nibbling on a vegetarian samosa, flying to Chicago for the Oprah show.
And given the song was already a worldwide smash debuting at #1 in countries where she's never even set foot, this sort of suggests people aren't being told to like the song, they have a natural affinity with it/her.
Now you may not like it, that's entirely your prerogative, but that shouldn't lead you to conclusions as to why others might.
