He just ants the publicity...as always. Tbh did most people even have any idea who the lead singer of 1R was until he started working with their faves?
Even if it this site is just terrible to navigate, I'm pretty confident some major news outlet would've picked it up already if RT really gave them an interview anywhere in this galaxy giving definites on this album. They're absolutely desperate for that at this point.
I agree with your second post as well, I'm just on mobile and too lazy to quote it haha. Seems that she would want as much control of this album as possible, not just disappearing and leaving RT and the rest of them to screw with it without her say...
you do need to have confidence though! I'm sure you did fine as long as you studied 
that song would have slayed and it's her best ballad in my opinion
