This is the same man that said that he planned Naruto x Hinata from the beginning but hardly had the girl in the manga at all and had to make a movie to give them development. This is the man that said Sakura loved Naruto but said Sakura would be a horrible woman to move on from Sasuke. THANK YOU I needed this For the most part, Kishimoto doesn't give his female characters equal treatment in character development like how he treats his male characters. Its disgusting to be honest. Not many people are willing to discuss this though sadly, but thanks for shedding more light on how Kishimoto sucks I used to love Naruto, but my love for the show has died down a lot because I saw how he carried out his story and it sucks tbh. Still a fan I guess though since I'm willing to keep up with the manga. Hopefully he makes Sarada a strong character...

I despise Kishimoto. I used to love Sakura but any sane person can see that she was better off with Naruto. Sakura becomes a mess when she is around Sasuke but when she is around Naruto she becomes independent and strong. She gives up being a medical ninja to become a damn housewife. How low can Sakura get? I mean not even being a mother.

Same with Hinata. I thought Hinata would be leading her clan and become a strong leader yet she got everything given to her. Naruto was like a prize for home girl. All through out the manga he never returned her feelings. Even after the end about 3 years later he never noticed her until he is made to realize she loved him through genjutsu which is awful. Home girl didn't even had her own goal. Her cousin died and all kishimoto could have her say was "Naruto kun's 's hand is so big." A hot mess and the funny part is the Kishimoto said "Neji died so Hinata and Naruto could get together." You mean he couldn't find another reason for them to get together? lmao

All of his females characters are a mess which is why Fairy Tail is way better.

All characters get development in fairy tail.

I agree. As one of the three main characters, Sakura truly got the bad end of the stick. Her character development is minimal and she perhaps even regresses as a character. She started off strong in Shippuuden, but Kishimoto continues how she carried her self in pre-Shippuuden era. The only thing that concerns Sakura's character is Sasuke which is sad. Despite being one of the three main characters, Sakura was never shown to succeed her predecessor mean while Sasuke and Naruto did it quickly. If things were right, it should be Naruto and Sakura being together... Anyways I agree why the hell is Sakura stuck being a housewife? Disgusting.

Also about Hinata, her character was literally built around Naruto. She had some stuff going for her during the Chuunin exams, but Kishimoto veered her character to only being about Naruto which is REALLY SAD. And yes Naruto never noticed her really.

And about Fairy Tail, I agree all characters for the most part get character development. One character which I find annoying though is Juvia, because all she is about is Grey. But overall Fairy Tail handles their female characters better than Naruto does.

He already said in a interview he see women as weak creature which is why Sakura is as she is
There no stopping him at this point he may not be the number 1 manga in Japan anymore but still is in America(which is where the money is) nothing is gonna stop or change his mind at this point

I thought a trap was a confirmed male character who strongly resembles a girl - thus being a "trap" for male hetero characters. But yeah while I think Kurapika is fine as a boy, he would also be great as a strong female character.

Even though she's not as bad as Sakura and Karin, Tsunade was my favorite Naruto character, and I'm pressed at how Kishimoto dealt with her. Her initial arc was so promising, but she got very little character development outside of that.

Like, several volumes and hundreds of episodes later, she is still only pulling healing abilities out of nowhere, getting over Dan and talking about the Will of Fire.

Killua is like 10-12 and Alluka is like 7. Them holding hands is perfectly normal.

I do wish they kept up with Kurapika somewhat instead of leaving him on his own after Yorknew, though.

Idk tbh Based off what you said, Alluka is a trap because Kurapika was only questionable in the beginning but they confirm he is a guy and he doesn't act in a typically "female" fashion. And yeah, imo HXH should have had a main female character as well but w/e
