The dumbest one is the one who claimed the Beatles created their own genres which is true but everyone around that time combined rock/blues/pop together its just the Beatles got more credit for it. Taylor has created her own genres too by combined rock with country and pop so it isn't that much of a stretch to compare the two when you've looked into the material of both.
They forgot that BLUES is the main genre that all genres (including rock) stole the sound from. Some people haven't known or listened to Chuck Berry before talking about classic era apparently.
