Today we're making adjustments to our warning system. Please read carefully to ensure that you're following ATRL's forum policy. First and foremost, we do not allow direct linking to illegal downloads of copyrighted material. Anyone caught doing so will be warned appropriately and permanently banned if caught doing so multiple times. This is nothing new, but expect our moderators to step up enforcement of this policy starting today.

File Sharing — 4 points, expires in 90 days
Sharing links to illegal downloads of copyrighted material. Note: This may include sharing sites that offer this material. Do not post links to *******, warez & illegal music, movie and TV show sharing sites.
File Share Request — 2 points, expires in 90 days
Requesting links to illegal downloads of copyrighted material.
Communication on File Sharing
Public messages with intent to illegally file share and requests for such services are not allowed on ATRL. This includes "Link on my wall", "LOMW", "I'll PM you the link" and "Can someone PM me the link?". What happens from PM to PM is your business, but please do not make it public. Our moderators may decide to warn you based on intentions made public to share illegal files and requests for those services.
Why So Uptight?
As many of you know, we've had major server issues that we were able to recover from thanks to donations from our generous members. We want to focus our time on giving you a better experience and less time dealing with potential lawsuits from copyright holders that can ultimately halt many of the improvements we'd like to make in the future.
