No, she's a pop star. She's extremely commercial, 'Pink Friday' is a pop album with hip-hop elements. Pop = POPular.
She's both a rapper and a pop artist. And I say good for her! Make your own music, ignore those annoying hoodrats who want all rappers to roll out the exactly same tired pseudo-ghetto act all the time.

I know. I bought it the day is was released but then never listened to it.
I love Dance, Dance, Dance and Factory of Faith but I haven't listened to the entire album yet.
What are the best tracks?
What what what? Wilkes I'm disappointed with you. I craved that album for months and then when it was finally released I had to wait 5 days for my copy to arrive. I felt like dying. RHCP are everything.
For me the best tracks are Monarchy Of Roses, Factory Of Faith, Even You Brutus? and Police Station (LOVE the piano in this) although the whole album is amazing.

But TBH there are so many albums I need to listen to: I need to finish Ceremonials; fully appreciate Tom Waits's new album; delve into Brett Anderson's album; relisten to Cher to evaluate what I actually think of that album; listen to Mylo; appreciate Hurts; listen to Noel's album in full; and then finally finish listening to the Beach Boys' 'Smile Sessions'.

Listen to Ceremonials and Noel's album, **** the rest.
