I'd be fine with that if it meant they were booking her for SNL, but they're not.

There's only BUT so many NBC shows to book her on..

This also explains why she didn't perform at the CMAs, and won't be on the CMA Christmas.

Really the only NBC promo left is The Voice, Thanksgiving parade, and a Leno performance. They made it seem like she was going to be everywhere, but instead just on one (last place) network.

If it's really the case then it explains why NBC is such a flop. How can they expect to expand their declining audience if the only people they allow themselves to advertise to are their limited number of existing viewers
