Work wasn't a surprise. We knew she was recording a music video for it weeks prior.

Formation wasn't a surprise, BeyHive accounts said she'd drop something prior to the Super Bowl to have something to perform at the Super Bowl.

Body Say was a surprise because it wasn't even a real single at first. It literally wasn't even on iTunes for a month. However with her last real lead single; Cool for the Summer she dropped teasers of it on YouTube before it was released.

Rise is not lead single.

There's no proof on her having a single coming out soon.

& yes, I specifically said "we knew of their lead singles two weeks before release". Rise and Body Say aren't lead singles, so they don't apply to what I said.

Their last lead singles, Roar and Cool for the Summer were known to be coming with actual proof weeks before release.
