I didn't have time to make a rate. And there are too many characters in AHS for me to sit down and go through them all in one sitting. I will if I make the time, maybe on the weekend.
And i don't mean to go after you, I also make fun of the Emma Roberts stan, but your opinions are baffling. Are we watching the same show? Elsa is stupid, selfish, inconsiderate, and the writing is sloppy because her characterization swings wildly from one to another. She's a two-faced bitch who is only looking out for herself, just like most of Jessica's characters, but you can easily see her deceptions and no one actually believes her.
Compare her to Constance Langdon, who is a poisonous viper but hides behind a wolf's grin and actually knows how to manipulate characters into trusting her, and it's really no competition. NOBODY would ever play that HBIC for a fool, but Elsa trusted Stanley as blindly as Gaga trusted Perez.

Elsa wasn't meant to be as HBIC as the other three; "Orphans" shows that. And I don't think Elsa's characterization flip-flops as much as you think. She has sympathy and at least a superficial love for all of her freaks that's overshadowed by her self-preservation and desire for fame. The emotions battle it out, and cause different outcomes and situations, but I don't believe it to be a product of sloppy writing (in this case).
Constance was, for the most part, a one-note character: an enigmatic, sinister old Southern belle. Her relationship with Addie was the only unique aspect. What won Jessica the Emmy was the Constance monologue to Addie via Billie Jean.
EDIT: Also, I don't mind you disagreeing with me or even criticizing my opinions, but back your criticism with your own arguments, like you just posted.

it's hard deciding between Constance, Fiona, and Elsa, but Sister Jude is clearly better than all three of them. not even comparable.

Please. Jude would OBLITERATE Elsa's emotionally unbalanced ass. Constance would get fed up and LEAVE, then Jude & Fiona would remain alive together.

what do you guys think of the title for this season? I think it's horrible. Hotel is too common and simple, and too in-your-face obvious. If they had named it something like AHS: Resort or something, that would have a nicer ring to it IMO.

No they're not but they have a sort of edginess towards them that Hotel lacks. I'm getting used to it though, its not bad.

Freakshow could have been called Circus. That would have been the obvious choice, but they chose to make a distinct difference between the two.
Asylum does not need any other name. It is perfect, and captures the spirit of AHS as it is meant to be.
Coven was totally out of left field. I don't think anyone thought of that name back when we guessed Season 3 would be about witches. Many people were thinking it would be called AHS: Salem.

It's literally just the primary setting for each season. Hotel is no different than Asylum, really.
