Adele, Taylor, and Beyonce are the new pop trinity if we're talking about 2013 success/sales/tours. Gaga may not be part of that trinity but Katy, Miley, and Rihanna have not outsold Adele or Taylor! Then there's all the awards Tay and Adele have won, to all others there!

Not trying to be negative, but ARTPOP clearly isn't a Teenage Dream/TFM kind of album that could end up selling massively in the long run thanks to the endless hits on it.
And even the potential smashes (I can't think of any, but oh well) will most likely get ruined with messy performances and messy videos that won't have any positive effect on the sales.
