They don't really interest me tbh I don't think I would like the whole date-sim aspect of it.
Only 5%,of the social links are romantic, most of them are just ways to get to know the other characters and npcs. The soundtracks are amazing and battles (like most Shin Megami Tensei games) are challenging and rewarding.

As Lulu said most of it isn't romantic and they're for the most part optional. They do help out in battles but you can complete the game without having to pay too much attention to it first play through and can focus on it a later play through if you like. The game does have a nice replayability factor to it.
Anyone tried the Persona 4 fghting games? they're always so cheap, are they any good?
The first one story mode is the pits. The gameplay is good I guess if you like these type of fighting games but if you're like me and don't like 2D fighters and just wanted to play the story, just don't try it. I say, buy Ultimax, it has the first one story as DLC and improved gameplay mechanics.
Kinda ironic how the Japanese fans' biggest complaint was how Alisha(or w/e) was promoted as the heroine while Rose ends up replacing her early in the game + the other characters dragging Alisha via skits and stuff
The dlc was supposed to give Alisha the spotlight for once but it looks like the story revolves around Rose again with Alisha being a side chracter and even bitch slapped by Rose
I don't think I would like the whole date-sim aspect of it.
I hope they do ass same sex social links but I doubt it.
