It’s Iggy Iggs and she is not leaving from the comfortable summit of the PlatinumCharts. “Fancy” leads the other songs for a tenth consecutive week. No other song ruled the charts for that long. In fact only Katy Perry’s “Roar” was able to hold on at #1 for 7 weeks. Stay tuned to see if Iggy and Charli will extend their record by staying at #1 for another week.
Charli XCX not only holds the #1 spot, but she takes over #2 for a second consecutive week. “Boom Clap”, the song from “The Fault In Our Stars” film, remains stable at #2 for a second consecutive week. Sia vaults 5-3 with her lead single from “1000 Forms of Fear”, “Chandelier”. “Chandelier” debuted last week at #5. It’s Sia’s second top 5 single.
Sam Smith falls 3-4 with his emotional ballad “Stay With Me”. The song remained close to Iggy’s “Fancy” for 3 weeks, but failed to overtake it. At #5 there’s a hot shot debut as Norwegian act Nico & Vinz land there with their smash single “Am I Wrong”. Nicki Minaj falls 4-6 with her “Pill N Potions” song.
T.I. and Iggy Azalea are hot as their collaboration “No Mediocre” goes all the way in the top 10 and utterly lands at #7. It’s Iggy’s third Top 10 hit in less than 10 weeks. Furthermore it’s T.I.’s second Top 10 single (after “Blurred Lines”). “Problem” by Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea drops at #8, John Legends “All Of Me” falls at #9 and “Rude” by MAGIC! drops at #10.
